Today was largely a travel day.  We left Tolo and drove through Sparta and Kalamata on the way to Ancient Olympia.

Close to Sparta stadium is a monument for all Olympic medal winners from the region.  The first medal winner listed on the monument is from 720 BC.

The road over the mountain from Sparta to Kalamata is winding.  This clip is typical of the drive.  If you look at the bottom left corner you can see the reflection of our fearless driver, Yianni, in the windshield.
